Bathing of Prince Siddhartha 28 May for Public (Ceremony): 11.00am to 11.30am
Bathing of Prince Siddhartha 28 - 30 May for Public: 8.30am to 10.00pm
The Society holds ceremonial bathing of an image of baby Prince Siddhartha (the Buddha-to-be) placed in perfumed water with flowers. The perfumed water is scooped with a ladle and poured over the statue. This symbolises the purification of one’s unwholesome deeds with wholesome deeds.
